What can you visit in the neighbourhood?

• Ypres: its historical centre and its impressive Fortresses. The war monuments in Ypres and surroundings remember us what an important role Ypres has played during the first World War. Ypres also offers numerous sporting facilities, an active cultural life and excellent restaurants, all at walking distance from your holiday home.

• The French Flanders ((Boeschepe, Godewaersvelde, Steenvoorde, Terdeghem, Cassel, Clairmarais, St. Omer, Esquelbecq, Worhmhout,...) are certainly worth visiting.
• The coast is nearby (40km)
• Bruges: “the Venice of the North” is only at 60 km
• Roeselare: “the shopping city in the heart of Flanders” is located at 20 km.
• At 20 km you will also find Lo-Reninge, a typically peaceful village for the region locally called Bachten de Kupe. Lo-Reninge is also an excellent starting point to go for a cycle ride or a country walk.

• At 10 km distance from your holiday home you can visit Heuvelland, which hills offer magnificent panoramic views. A true paradise for cyclists, mountainbikers and walkers. There are 4 equestrian routes with signposts and several charming bars where you can play ancient popular sports.
• Veurne is a cosy town, try to discover its delicacies and typical dishes.
• There are 2 large amusement parks nearby (Bellewaerde and Plopsaland)
• Poperinge is another beautiful town situated in the South West of West Flanders, famous for its local dishes lace and historical patrimony.
